LISTEN TO STORIES FROM THE PAST

The Umpqua Discovery Center recently rotated the oral histories in the ‘I Remember, I Remember’ area of ‘Tidewaters & Time’.  Visitors will be able to enjoy stories from long time lower Umpqua residents Butch Thompson, Harold Warren, Joyce Brandon, Anna Plov, Al Dorsey, Virginia Leach, Bernice Bates and Lyster Graham. 

While at the Center, take a look at the new working weather station in ‘Pathways to Discovery’.  This exhibit features local weather information from the area and will archive previous weather.  This information will soon be available on our website, along with a webcam viewing the Umpqua River.
